Earth Day

Earth Day is the one day a year dedicated to supporting environmental protection. It is a day that reminds us of our actions and responsibilities to a planet that sustains us day after day, year after year, generation after generation. It’s unfortunate that our society is so busy that we’re only afforded one day a year to think about the Earth, when we all know that we should be dedicated to taking care of our planet every day of our lives. Environmental education should be a fundamental practice that comes as naturally as breathing, because frankly we need it. 

There will be a lot of other companies green washing today, while continuing to operate business practices that are destroying our planet. We feel conflicted about posting on Earth Day because we are in an industry that isn’t kind to the environment and as a growing business, we have much to accomplish. 

But there is always hope. There is always a chance to think differently and act better. 

As a small and growing business, supporting sustainability and environmental protection are at the heart of what we do because we choose to. Here’s what we’re currently doing:

• Exclusively using dead stock fabric and natural fibers
• Producing our collection in limited quantities
• Sourcing 50%-100% recycled, compostable or reusable paper and plastic for our packaging

And this is just the beginning.
